Dmitry Aleksandrovich Muserskiy who was born on October 29, 1988, is a Russian volleyball player of Ukrainian heritage who plays for Suntory Sunbirds in Japan. He is a 2012 Olympic Champion, 2013 European Champion, 2011 World Cup gold winner, and multiple World League medalist. Muserskiy is one of the tallest athletes in the world.
Boris Osnach taught Muserskiy how to play volleyball when he was eight years old. Muserskiy was a member of the junior national team in 2006. Muserskiy earned 13 points in his maiden match for the Russian national team against the USA in the FIVB World League on 4 June 2010 at Yekaterinburg, becoming the Russian side’s top scorer that day.
